Strengthening Our Fund Lineup

We've recently made a number of changes to our Funds. Here's a brief summary:

Focused Equity Fund was merged into the Blue Chip Fund.

Insured Tax Exempt Fund (FITE) has reopened. FITE had been closed for several years except in cases of investments of $1 million or more. FITE, like all of our other tax-exempt funds, seeks to generate tax-exempt income. FITE II is the only one of our tax-exempt funds that has a secondary objective of total return. Now, you have two national tax-exempt funds from which to choose.

Insured Tax Exempt Florida Fund and the Insured Intermediate Fund were folded into FITE. FITE was chosen as the recipient of these mergers because its sole objective of tax-exempt income matched the merged Funds' objectives more closely than did FITE II.

Life Series Focused Equity Fund is now managed by the Smith Asset Management Group, its name has changed to the Life Series Select Growth Fund and its investment objectives match those of the Select Growth Fund.

We're committed to giving you a solid lineup of mutual funds from which to choose. If you have any questions regarding these changes, please feel free to contact your representative.
