Building relationships has always been a hallmark of the First Investors way of doing business. When we speak about building relationships, we are not just talking about earning the trust of our clients, but also of creating a team in which every member contributes something vital to the success of our Company mission.

As a new representative, you will receive extensive training that will help you succeed in the exciting, ever-changing, financial services industry. Your training will cover such topics as our products and services, compliance, our philosophy, and our approach to customer service. You will also work to acquire knowledge needed to pass required industry certification exams.

After you complete your training and become registered, you will be assigned to a supervisor. Your supervisor will accompany you on many of your early client meetings and will provide you with guidance along the way.

Your training as a representative will continue throughout your affiliation with us. We will provide you with a program of continuing education and advanced training at our University of First Investors, and also offer you other programs and materials designed to help you evolve.

We don't just give you the means to succeed. We give you the motivation as well. Our compensation structure is very competitive, and we offer incentives to reward those of you who take up our challenge. As well, we offer qualified representatives the opportunity to advance into management, even up to the executive level. All of our sales management professionals started out as representatives — the position you’re considering right now.

As a representative, you will be bolstered by the dedicated support of our home offices in Edison, NJ and on Wall Street, the financial capital of the world. They work to provide customer service, marketing materials, and solid, innovative products that give you the tools for success.
